Spring is just around the corner, which means the City’s annual street sweeping program is soon coming to our community. Street sweeping removes sanding materials and debris that have accumulated on roads and along major sidewalks and boulevards during the winter months. The program aims to improve safety and mobility for Calgary motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.

Keeping Calgary clean is a collaborative effort. To make sure the program runs smoothly, residents will be asked to remove vehicles and carts from City roads when street sweeping signs appear and indicate to do so in our community. In order to sweep the city as efficiently as possible, crews will working and sweeping seven days per week.

  • Track sweeper progress across the city on a live map
  • Learn if there will be a parking ban in your neighbourhood
  • Enter your address to confirm your street sweeping date
