Spring has arrived, which means the City’s annual street sweeping program is coming to our community.
The Springside area is scheduled for street sweeping on April 29.
Please follow on street signage and remove vehicles and bins from the road to avoid ticketing and/or towing.
Street sweeping removes sanding materials and debris that have accumulated on roads and along major sidewalks and boulevards during the winter months. The program aims to improve safety and mobility for Calgary motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.
Keeping Calgary clean is a collaborative effort. To make sure the program runs smoothly, residents will be asked to remove vehicles and carts from City roads when street sweeping signs appear and indicate to do so in our community. In order to sweep the city as efficiently as possible, crews will be working and sweeping Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm on residential streets.
