A gravel pit and haul road will be constructed south of Old Banff Coach Road SW – between 101 Street SW and the community of West Springs. The gravel pit will provide a significant portion of material needed to build the Southwest Calgary Ring Road (SWCRR). A haul road will also be developed to move gravel out of the gravel pit.
