Our annual fee is $125 and covers the period from January 1 to December 31 and is due by March 31st of the year in which it has been assessed. For more information about a specific property, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The fee is to fund operations for the year, including general upkeep of community green spaces and maintaining landscaping enhancements throughout the community. This annual fee is pursuant to the encumbrance registered on the title of all residential properties in Springside. It is not an optional fee, but a legal requirement, that must be paid annually by every home and condominium owner.
The Springside Residents’ Association has established a strict policy for collecting unpaid fees. Homeowners who have not paid their fees are sent an invoice or statement listing the amounts owing, including interest and administrative charges, if any. The interest rate charged on outstanding balances is 7% per annum.
If payment for outstanding fees is not received, the account will be turned over to the Association’s lawyer for collection. Any and all legal costs incurred to recover the outstanding balances become the responsibility of the homeowner. Failure to pay outstanding balances and legal costs may ultimately lead to foreclosure proceedings being commenced in respect to the homeowner’s property.
Please note any payment received by the Association is applied to the oldest charges on your account first. If your account has been sent to the Association’s lawyer for collections, you must pay the lawyer directly as outlined in the correspondence received.
We appreciate and strongly encourage all homeowners to keep their accounts in good standing as to avoid the hassle and expenses incurred through the collections process.
Payment of the annual fee can be made online or by way of cheque or bank draft payable to the Springside Residents’ Association and submitted by either method A or B outlined below.
